A few weeks ago Firefox just crashed one time too much, sending the collection of links for later read (opened in tabs) into the hades. At that point I started to think about an easy-to-use way to keep track of interesting URLs without polluting my bookmarks - I really should clean my bookmark lists as there are way too many, and a lot of them is probably dead already. But I digress… So, after some weeks of relaxed coding uQueue reached the state of RC 1.
P.S.: Firefox does not crash often enough on me to call it unstable nor do I want to blame it for most of the crashes: Firefox is a great browser and because of its beta stage I do not expect it to be non-crashing. In fact, some of the loses of interesting URLs were caused by user errors - the nice way to say: I clicked the wrong button ;)
